Regular attendance at school is extremely important if children are to make progress and parents/carers are responsible for getting their children to school everyday.

The school expects good attendance and this is defined as 96% or above.

Children are expected to arrive in school in good time (8.50am-9.05am)

The gates close promptly at 9.10am.

Children who arrive after this time will need to report to the school office.

If your child is ill and not well enough to come to school, parents are asked to inform us by telephone before the start of the school day on 01522 527339

Absence in term time

In accordance with statutory guidelines you can only apply for an absence in term time if there are exceptional circumstances. This application must be made in writing, explaining the reason for the absence, to the Headteacher in plenty of time for a decision to be made and notification of that decision given. A leave of absence form is available at Reception for your convenience.

Holidays are not exceptional circumstances.

Please see our attendance leaflet, below, for more information.
